Purpose and Mission Statement


The Purpose of the Sanger Volunteer Fire Department is to protect the citizens and their property from destruction by fire. To provide fire suppression services, emergency medical services, and fire prevention service (which include public education, fire investigation, and business inspections). 

 

The Sanger Volunteer Fire Department covers a 130 square mile Fire/EMS District in North Denton County.  There were 1965 calls for service in 2024.  The ISO rating is currently at 4/9.

 

The department currently has 1 Engine, 1 Tanker/Pumper, 1 Tanker, 2 Brush Trucks, 1 Rescue, and 2 ALS Ambulances.
