Recycling and Bulk Collection

Republic Services is pleased to be the recycling and waste service partner for the City of Sanger. Recycling collection, waste pickup and yard waste/ bulk service are provided weekly. Place your green recycling cart, blue waste cart and yard waste/bulk at the curb before 7 a.m. on your collection day.

We provide the following services to the residents of Sanger:

  • Once-a-week recycling in the green cart
  • Once-a-week waste pickup in the blue cart
  • Once-a-week yard waste/bulk collection (up to 4 cubic yards)

Bulk Items

Bulk includes appliances, pieces of furniture or other residential items that are too large for a cart. Hazardous waste, car parts, tires, and non-compactible items, such as bricks and concrete, will not be collected with regular bulk trash.

  • Up to four (4) cubic yards of bulk materials per collection
  • White goods and all other appliances designated to contain Freon® or other refrigerants materials have to be tagged, certifying that all refrigerants have been removed by a certified refrigerant technician prior to their placement for collection. 
  • No single item can exceed 100 lbs. 
  • No bulk items comprised of construction and demolition waste, white goods, or any materials resulting from remodeling, general property cleanup, or clearing of property for the preparation of construction. However, the service provider may negotiate an agreement on an individual basis with the owner or occupant of a single-family residential unit regarding the collection of such items by utilizing the service provider's roll-off services.
Bulk Items

Yard Waste

Yard waste includes lawn, grass or shrubbery clippings, dry leaf rakings and small tree branches (not to exceed 4 ft. in length). All trees, shrubs and brush trimming must be cut, tied and placed in bundles or brown Kraft bags.  For unbundled tree limbs, please see the link below for information.
