Candidate Information

/DocumentCenter/View/2638The next Municipal Election will be held May 2, 2026.  Candidate filing, such as the Candidate's Application for a Place on the Ballot and Campaign Treasurer Appointments, will be updated daily during the filing period. 

After a candidate files an application for a place on the ballot, the filing authority reviews the application to verify that it meets all legal requirements related to form, content, and filing procedures. The review process is completed within five days after the application is received, unless an exception applies under state law. Pursuant to Texas Election Code Section 141.032(b).

Campaign Finance Reports will be posted as received on the reporting page.
